Job summary

The Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront in Burlingame, CA is seeking a server to maintain a clean dining area, handle guest payments, and perform opening/closing duties for smooth service. You will prepare food items for guests and assist other servers during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean dining area at all times.
• Receive all payments from guests.

• Assist other servers with their tables.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and supplies are stocked; report needs.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as directed.
• Be knowledgeable in hotel emergency procedures.

• Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
• Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and performs other duties as directed or assigned.
• Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Ability to communicate verbally (including telephone contact) with Guests, management and co-workers.
