Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking an on-call Security Officer to support the Procter and Gamble facility and surrounding areas, where health, safety and security are our top priorities. The role involves monitoring access, patrolling, and ensuring a secure environment for employees, visitors and clients.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting incidents, coordinating with site staff, responding to emergencies, and issuing ID badges as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of security, law enforcement or military experience is preferred.
• A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy preferred.
• Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.
• Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8-12 hours per shift.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.
• Must be safety oriented as this is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Personally monitors areas by roving inside facilities, in a vehicle, or other appropriate locations.
• De-escalate situations to ensure safety of employees, customers and clients.
• Examine doors, windows and other areas to ensure they are secure.
• Report and record data such as property damage and incidents per policies.
• Handle site security logistics with incoming and outgoing traffic of employees, visitors and vendors.
• Warn violators and may apprehend or expel violators.
• Notify on-site individuals of visitors wishing to see them.
• Assist in responding to emergencies or disasters to preserve life and property.
