Job summary

NMS is seeking a Security Officer to protect the Procter and Gamble facility in Mehoopany Township, PA. This on-site position emphasizes safety and security in a busy public environment with staff, visitors and customers.

You will monitor areas, de-escalate incidents, check doors and windows, log events, and coordinate with site contacts to maintain safe operations and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years in security, law enforcement or military preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Team player able to work with staff, customers and clients.
• Ability to make quick decisions with minimal supervision.
• Must stand for 8–12 hours per shift and be safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas visually, electronically or audibly across facilities.
• De-escalate situations to ensure safety of employees, customers and clients.
• Inspect doors, windows and areas to confirm security.
• Report property damage and unusual occurrences per policy.
• Manage site traffic of employees, visitors and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety procedures.
• May issue and record ID badges and check building systems.
• Notify supervisors of safety or sanitation issues as needed.
