Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an Armed Security Officer at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale to patrol the hospital campus, screen visitors, and respond to alarms and emergencies. The role requires readiness to restrain individuals when necessary and to coordinate with leadership during incidents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Driver License – Required
• Arizona LEOSA Certified – Required
• Successful completion of the HH Armed Security Officer Training Program within 90 days of hire – Required
• Basic Life Support certification – Required
• Taser certification within 90 days of hire – Required

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated HonorHealth properties and screen visitors.
• Investigate and report hazards or suspicious activity to leadership.
• Monitor and manage ingress flow through weapons detection systems.
• Provide first response in emergencies and assist in mass casualty events.
• Escort people or property when safety or security is a concern.
• Document incidents and maintain daily activity logs.
