Location Description

The Hanover Inn has a rich legacy dating back to 1780, hosting notable guests including Presidents Monroe, Wilson, F.D.R., Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, and Booker T. Washington. Entertainers such as Kirk Douglas, Ella Fitzgerald, Joan Baez, and B.B. King have performed here. Renowned writers like F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, and Dr. Seuss have also visited.

Position Purpose

Set up the banquet room and serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to Pyramid Hotels' high standards.

Essential Functions

1. Set up banquet room as instructed, including linen, serviceware, and glassware.
2. Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics.
3. Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
4. Serve food and beverages according to the Banquet Captain's instructions, ensuring consistency.
5. Bus dishes promptly and replenish beverages as needed.
6. Practice teamwork and maintain cleanliness ('Clean as you go').
7. Reset the banquet room after events to ensure readiness for the next function, maintaining sanitation standards.
8. Attend mandatory monthly departmental meetings.

Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
