Job summary

Northwest Classical Academy is seeking a part-time School Nurse Substitute in Kennesaw, GA. The role is on-call and duties include providing health services in the absence of the School Nurse, with RN or Critical Care Paramedic credentials and CPR/AED preferred. Pay is $26 per hour and benefits do not apply.

Candidates must hold current licensure and/or certifications and have at least three years of nursing or emergency services experience. The position reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• RN or Critical Care Paramedic required; CPR/AED certification preferred.
• At least three years as a practicing nurse or emergency services responder.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document nursing care for physically and/or psychologically ill and injured students, faculty, and staff.
• Monitor and manage students with chronic diseases and disabilities with detailed care-plan documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all health policies, regulations, and privacy guidelines.
