Job summary

Cherokee Classical Academy in Canton, GA seeks a School Nurse Substitute for a part-time, on-call role. The nurse substitutes for the School Nurse, providing health services to students and staff and reporting to the Director of Operations.

Required: RN or Critical Care Paramedic, Bachelor's Degree, CPR/AED, and 3+ years nursing or EMS experience; pediatric nursing preferred. Pay is $25 per hour; benefits are not included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• RN or Critical Care Paramedic required.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• At least three (3) years as a practicing nurse or emergency services responder.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document emergency and non-emergency nursing care for students, faculty, and staff.
• Monitor and manage students with chronic diseases and disabilities with detailed documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with health policies, regulations, and privacy guidelines.
