Job summary

Kamehameha Schools, Hawaii Campus, seeks a caring Medical Assistant to support the Malama Ola team on an on-call basis.

Based primarily in the K-8 Health Room, you will provide health room support, basic patient care, administrative tasks and collaborate with nursing staff to meet daily needs.

The position requires at least 1 year of medical experience and a current BLS certification, with a valid driver's license and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of medical or healthcare experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible availability.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
• Pediatric healthcare experience a plus.
• School health or educational setting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff with student care and health room operations.
• Take vital signs and assist with basic wound care.
• Maintain health records and process medical documentation.
• Transport students to and from the health room as needed.
• Provide administrative support and computer-based assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.
