Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus is seeking a caring Medical Assistant (Temporary, On-Call) to support the Malama Ola team. The role involves health room assistance, basic patient care, and administrative support for haumana across the K‑12 campus.

The position requires at least 1 year of medical experience, a valid BLS certification, and a flexible on-call schedule. A MA certification is preferred; a driver’s license is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of related medical/healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• MA certification and/or pediatric/education setting experience preferred.]
• Flexible availability and ability to work on-call shifts.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support nursing staff with student care and health room operations.
• Take vital signs and assist with basic wound care.
• Maintain health records and process medical documentation.
• Transport students to and from the health room as needed.
• Provide administrative and computer-based support for daily operations.
