Job summary

Warden School District in Warden, WA seeks an on-call Substitute Bus Driver to transport students on regular routes as well as field trips. The role requires maintaining a valid WA bus endorsement, passing DOT drug testing, and performing pre/post trip checks. On-site work with compliance to OSPI and DOL requirements.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Minimum age 21.
• Maintain a valid Washington State endorsement for bus driver or complete required training.
• Ability to work well with others and promote a positive attitude.
• Pass a DOT physical and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Drives school bus on assigned routes in a safe manner.
• Instructs students in proper bus conduct.
• Report misconduct according to district procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete daily logs and other paperwork.
