Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Georgia CDL license with S&P endorsements is required.
• Ability to operate district vehicles safely and follow routes; maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Advises students and passengers on appropriate behavior to maintain safety.
• Drives district buses on scheduled routes and field trips.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Fuels, maintains, and cleans assigned vehicles to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Reports incidents and maintains mileage and routing records.
• Assists students during loading/unloading and monitors safety during transit.
