Job summary

Amedisys in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time on-call registered nurse to provide home health and hospice care. This on-call role runs Friday 5pm through Monday 8am, offering the balance of flexibility, purpose, and growth associated with one of the nation’s largest home health providers.

The compensation range is $80k–$90k with benefits including PPO or HSA medical plans, paid time off, wellness rewards, mental health support, retirement matching, and family support programs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for the state(s) assigned.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment on new admissions.
• Coordinate and revise the plan of care with the care team.
• Communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and physicians.
• Educate families on patient condition and care needs.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
