Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse On-Call to join our 24/7 care team. You will respond to triage calls, provide after-hours nursing visits, and help manage symptom control, admissions, and care plan updates in an end-of-life care setting.

The 7 days on / 7 days off overnight schedule offers professional autonomy, work-life balance, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact when it matters most.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates, Bachelors, or Masters).
• 1+ years of recent acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.
• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with patient/caregiver education.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation of care, outcomes and communication.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
