Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Wildwood, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse On-Call to join our 24/7 care model. You will respond to urgent patient needs during evenings, nights, and weekends, complete admissions, and help families navigate critical moments with expertise.

You will work a unique 7 days on/7 days off overnight schedule balancing meaningful patient care with personal time, while maintaining timely documentation and ongoing care plan updates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates, Bachelors, or Masters).
• 1+ years of recent acute care experience required; hospice or home care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, offering education and support to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation of care, outcomes, and communication.
