Job summary

New Narrative is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to work with residents in our mental health residential programs. You will engage residents, assist with daily living and medication tasks, and support crisis intervention in a team setting.

This on-site, on-call role requires CPR/Naloxone readiness, 18+ age, and adherence to Oregon rules. Training and onboarding are provided as part of a collaborative care approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to follow emergency procedures.
• CPR and Naloxone administration skills are expected or preferred.
• Independently capable of completing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents to support goal progress and transition planning.
• Promote resident autonomy while upholding personal rights.
• Participate in Team Based Care and attend staff meetings.
• Assist with daily living tasks and medication-related supports.
• Assist in crisis intervention using de-escalation techniques.
