Job summary

RISE Life Services is seeking a Residential Manager at the Northville site in Riverhead, NY to oversee and maintain the Individualized Residential Alternative program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate services, and ensure compliance and quality of care.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and documentation skills, with on-call duties and collaboration with RN/LPN.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years’ experience working with developmentally disabled populations.
• Graduate from an accredited college or university in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the I.R.A. Residential Program for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate services including medical, psychiatric, day treatment, and financial supports.
• Maintain records, ensure training compliance, and supervise staff.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and participate in managers’ meetings.
• Develop Residential Habilitation Plans and monitor progress with the Case Manager.
• Assist in admissions, discharge processes and ensure safety and quality.
