Cornerstone Residential, a comprehensive property management company, seeks a Maintenance Technician for California properties. You will perform maintenance on building, fixtures, and spaces, handle on-call duties, and contribute to keeping units and common areas in excellent condition.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in residential maintenance, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ general residential maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local, state or other regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and HVAC/electrical systems as needed.
• Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests.
• Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance assignments.
• Inspect and repair vacant units and prepare for move-ins.
• Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary.
• Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
• Complete grounds work, such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
• Perform other duties as requested to support property operations.
