Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and upkeep of the building, fixtures, and residential spaces.

This part-time, hourly role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of residential maintenance experience, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems. You will respond to service requests, work on-call, and support property operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ general residential maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and energy systems.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local, state regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-call as scheduled and weekends/after hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant units.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and HVAC/electrical systems as needed.
• Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests.
• Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and repair vacant units and prepare for move-ins.
• Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekends and overtime as necessary.
• Perform tasks and operate machinery safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Complete grounds work such as grounds cleanup and light landscaping.
• Support property operations with other duties as needed.
