Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related maintenance/janitorial experience.
• EPA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry courses.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate hand tools; knowledge of first aid and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Completes maintenance work (carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, masonry) per standards.
• Provides on-call maintenance for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Updates the status of all work orders.
• Executes the make-ready/turn process.
• Completes move-out checklists and forwards them for approval.
• Schedules and inspects vendor/contractor work for quality and compliance.
• Inspects rent-ready apartments to ensure move-in readiness.
• Inspects buildings and grounds and reports needed repairs.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
