Job summary

Crawford Hoying is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on our commercial properties. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds tasks, often working onsite with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, on-call coverage evenings/weekends, inspecting facilities, and reporting findings to the Facilities Manager. The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial or residential maintenance experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to give clear directions and respond to inquiries.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work (carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC) to code.
• Provide on-call maintenance for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Update status of all work orders.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for repairs with an inspection report.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
