Job summary

Resource Property Management is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for our residential community in Clearwater, FL. You will perform general maintenance, routine inspections, and preventive care to keep buildings, amenities, and grounds safe, functional, and inviting for residents and guests.

The role requires practical hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with vendors and management.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or facilities is preferred but not required.
• Basic skills in landscaping, plumbing, electrical, carpentry or equipment repair.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to property care.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting and walking the property.
• Comfortable interacting with residents in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of amenities, including clubhouse, restrooms, laundry, pool areas, and grounds.
• Support upkeep of lighting, doors, walkways, waste stations, vehicles, and other assets.
• Coordinate with management and vendors on projects, inspections, and repairs.
• Perform seasonal and preventive maintenance tasks (pressure washing, painting, filter changes, light equipment servicing).
• Respond to approved work orders and occasional after-hours emergencies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report safety concerns as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and uphold community standards.
