You will perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks, manage work orders, inspect safety compliance, and respond to emergencies, including nights or weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform basic repairs in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Skilled in painting, plastering, sheetrock work, and minor carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards as required by state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily building maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, painting, plastering, sheetrock repair, and minor carpentry work.
• Coordinate and complete work orders through the designated work order system and document issues.
• Ensure all work in tenant apartments is conducted with proper permission and completed timely.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance for interior and exterior of the building.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and maintain safety logs for fire safety and building systems.
