The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on-call for emergencies. This is an on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior handyman or residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance maintenance, carpentry, painting.
• Familiar with safety protocols and building codes.
• EPA 608 certification and related building certifications or ability to obtain.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in residential apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues and repair household appliances; coordinate with technicians for major repairs.
• Paint, drywall, and flooring repairs or replacements to keep units safe and clean.
• Prepare apartments for new residents during turns.
• Conduct routine property inspections and address safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Follow OSHA procedures and building codes.
• Coordinate with management, vendors, and staff to resolve issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and on-call emergencies as needed.
• Communicate courteously with residents and colleagues.
• Take ownership of repairs and ensure resolution.
• On-call rotations and after-hours emergencies as required.
