Job summary

Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. (NARA NW) is seeking Residential Assistants for on-call coverage at the Youth Residential Treatment Center in Portland, OR.

You will supervise youth during daily activities, document required records, and support treatment goals in a trauma-informed, respectful environment. Responsibilities include medication administration records, safety checks, and transporting youth as needed.

Qualifications

• Driving is a requirement and a current, active driver’s license is needed.
• Current auto insurance is required.
• Must be over 23 years old per policy.
• Pre-employment or for-cause drug tests will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to youth during daily treatment activities.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents with proper boundaries.
• Conduct routine safety checks and maintain MARs for medications.
• Use trauma-informed care to support emotional and recovery needs.
