Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse On-Call to support its 24/7 care model in Iowa. You will provide after-hours visits, triage, and admissions, coordinating care plans and symptom management for patients and families during evenings, nights, and weekends.

The role offers a 7 days on/7 days off overnight schedule with autonomy in clinical decision-making and meaningful patient connections in a compassionate hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AAS, BSN, or MSN).
• 1+ years of recent acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.
• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments, with patient and caregiver education.
