Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the McKeesport area. This full-time role pays a standard full-time salary while providing care every other week, including after-hours and weekend coverage for home-based participants.

Schedule includes OvernightWeekdays on-call from 3:30 PM to 8:30 AM, every other week. A PA driver’s license and nursing credential are required, with at least one year of elder/home care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations (home care, long-term care, or community health preferred).
• Experience in patient and caregiver education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours nursing care and support to older adult participants.
• Assess and manage episodic illnesses in collaboration with the on-call provider.
• Deliver prescribed treatments and nursing interventions.
• Educate participants and caregivers on care plans and health management.
• Document all care and changes in condition promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This unique role offers full-time pay for working every other week, providing after-hours and weekend care and support to our participants in their homes.

Schedule
