Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide after-hours and weekend care in participants' homes, earning full-time pay for an every-other-week schedule. The role covers Wilkinsburg and Homestead service areas, with overnight on-call hours from 3:30 PM to 8:30 AM.

Requirements include a nursing degree, PA driver’s license, and at least 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations; CPT and education duties are also emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid PA driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly populations.
• Experience in patient and caregiver education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours nursing care and support to older adult participants.
• Assess and manage episodic illnesses in collaboration with the on-call provider.
• Deliver prescribed treatments and nursing interventions.
• Educate participants and caregivers on care plans and health management.
• Document all care and changes in condition promptly and accurately.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. This unique role offers full-time pay for working every other week, providing after-hours and weekend care and support to our participants in their homes.

Schedule

OvernightWeekdays: On-Call from 3:30 PM - 8:30 AM (Monday-Friday) EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY

Location:Wilkinsburg and Homestead service areas
