Job summary

Central City Concern in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time Treatment Assistant for the 16 Burn Recovery Center. This 24-hour residential facility provides extended care for individuals transitioning from detox with a focus on recovery, safety, and supportive housing.

You will work with Milieu Supervisors and counselors to maintain a therapeutic environment. The role emphasizes de-escalation, high-quality customer service, and adherence to CCC policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related work experience (e.g., shelter, residential or day treatment, counseling, substance abuse treatment)
• Associate’s degree in Social Services, Behavioral Health, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in any field

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-quality, comfortable, and safe living environment in buildings.
• Perform building upkeep, room inventory, and turnover tasks.
• Greet residents and provide information to staff.
• Assist with cleaning, pest control measures, and common area maintenance.
• Conduct periodic inspections of common areas and report hazards.
• Assist tenants and residents to become familiar with community resources.
• Maintain logs and reports as assigned and ensure privacy and security requirements are followed.
