Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and radiology program graduate.
• ARRT eligibility and state licensure as required.
• 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and operate x-ray equipment to obtain images.
• Prepare patients and ensure safety in radiology procedures.
• Maintain sterile equipment and perform quality control on equipment.
• Explain procedures and post-procedure instructions to minimize patient anxiety.
• Adapt to different x-ray equipment and procedures; multitask and prioritize.
• Travel between campus buildings and remote facilities as needed.
