Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an imaging support professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other modalities to support patient care and education.

You will operate imaging equipment, ensure quality images, and comply with safety and documentation standards. Requires High School Diploma, 6 months experience, and BLS certification within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience: 6 months relevant experience
• Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required three months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray and MRI to capture diagnostic images.
• Ensure image quality and proper patient positioning for accurate diagnoses.
• Follow safety, documentation, and infection control procedures during imaging procedures.
