Job summary

The On-Call Radio Promotions Assistant supports MIX 101.5, 99.9 The Fan, and 95.7 That Station’s events, helping set up, run, and break down live broadcasts and community events. This role engages with listeners, clients, and the community in a professional and enthusiastic manner, ensuring a positive station presence.

Hours are on an as-needed basis, with on-call evenings and weekends. Pre-employment screening and E-Verify are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Availability to work on call, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in radio promotions, events, or broadcasting is preferred.
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for promotional use.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador at station events, live broadcasts, and community activities.
• Assist with event preparation, including load up, set-up, breakdown, and transportation of promotional materials.
• Operate basic broadcasting equipment and provide on-site support during live promotions.
• Engage with the public, clients, and listeners in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Support promotional efforts through clerical tasks, photography, and updating social media accounts.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned, provided they are reasonably related to the responsibilities outlined in this job description.
