Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Public Area Attendant (On-Call) to maintain cleanliness in lobby, restrooms, and public spaces at Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. The role requires adherence to hotel standards and the ability to perform various housekeeping tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with cleaning duties, reporting issues to supervisors, and ensuring guest satisfaction with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Flexibility for long hours and varied shifts.
• Must stand during the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Highgate standards in all public spaces.
• Operate cleanly in lobby, business center, fitness center, and restrooms.
• Assist with special cleaning assignments as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with courteous service.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Hotel-related experience preferred

Housekeeping experience preferred

Flexibility with long hours

Effective communication (verbal & written)
