Job summary

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Kamuela, Hawaii, seeks a diligent Housekeeping House Attendant to clean public areas, restrooms, offices and corridors to resort standards. You will assist room attendants, stock carts with supplies and linens, and help deliver items to guests.

This role requires physical stamina to move heavy items, operate cleaning equipment, and report safety concerns. Shift work and the ability to work over 40 hours if needed are expected as part of maintaining the guest experience

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand work assignment sheets and directions when handling cleaning solutions or chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, restrooms, offices and corridors according to resort standards.
• Assist room attendants and deliver items to guest rooms.
• Stock carts and closets with supplies and linen.
• Move heavy furniture or equipment as needed.
• Report any unauthorized person on guest room floors to security.
• Assist in special projects and complete work assignments in a timely manner.
