Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach is seeking a Room Attendant (On-Call) to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms and provide courteous service to guests. The role involves thorough cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

This on-call position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively with staff and guests. Location is in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
