Job summary

Responsibilities include responding to service requests within 24 hours when possible, performing unit turnover tasks, and helping manage safety, OSHA compliance, and preventative maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Position requires at least three years experience in property maintenance or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks personally as directed by Service Manager/Property Manager.
• Handle resident service requests and correct issues within 24 hours when possible.
• Be available for emergency maintenance 24/7.
• Perform unit turnover tasks and maintain records of preventative maintenance, service requests, and make-ready status.
• Install new appliances as necessary and assist with major repairs/contract decisions.
• Ensure safety by complying with OSHA regulations and state/federal laws (ADA, Fair Housing).
• Manage tools and materials inventory; train new technicians and porters.
• Assist with snow removal and on-call rotation as required.
