Job summary

Harbor Group seeks a reliable Maintenance Technician to upkeep our multifamily properties in Aurora, CO. You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, respond to resident requests, and maintain common areas to high standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, EPA HVAC certification is a plus, and you’re willing to participate in on‑call rotations. Valid driver's license and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC EPA certifications preferred; refrigerant handling certs.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience preferred.
• Available for emergency on‑call, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation if applicable.
• Customer-service oriented with professional resident interactions.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Any other local/state required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Respond to resident service requests and track repairs with a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property for safety and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units with inspections, punch lists, and coordinating contractors.
• Maintain amenity areas with cleaning, trash removal, and minor painting.
• Inspect vendor work to ensure quality and scope compliance.
• Assist in property inspections and safety training participation.
