Job summary

Klein is seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our Oaks, PA team. You will handle corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance to keep our residents safe and comfortable. A strong hand tool set and a proactive attitude are essential in this fast-paced environment.

You will inspect buildings, coordinate with the Service Manager, and assist across departments as needed. The role requires after-hours and on-call availability, snow removal, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance (residential or commercial).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC/CFC certification required.
• Valid PA/NJ/FL driver’s license.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws.
• Own and maintain a standard set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy with close attention to detail.
• Handle a wide range of building repairs without reliance on outside vendors unless directed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds.
• Address issues with plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and structural elements before they become costly problems.
• Work with the Service Manager to maintain and improve preventive maintenance protocols.
• Be available for after-hours and on-call duties as scheduled.
• Know emergency shut-offs and response procedures.
• Follow all company protocols in handling urgent issues affecting safety and habitability.
• Maintain and track inventory of tools and equipment.
