Job summary

Justus Property Management is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to care for our community properties. You will perform maintenance, cleaning, and painting, ensuring units and common areas are well-maintained and presented professionally.

You will respond to resident requests, conduct routine inspections, supervise contractors, and handle after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation. A valid driver’s license and basic plumbing/electrical knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of general home maintenance.
• General plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to perform on-call, after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, cleaning, and painting at properties.
• Achieve resident satisfaction through customer service to retain residents.
• Monitor expenses to stay below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Perform turn of vacant units (maintenance, cleaning, painting).
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, snow removal, and logs of maintenance.
