Job summary

STARC of Louisiana is seeking a PRN Sub-contract RN for their Waiver Services Program in Slidell, Louisiana. The RN will provide ongoing nursing services and consult on an as-needed basis at STARC homes or private family homes.

The successful candidate will complete health assessments, train direct support professionals on medication, and offer consultations regarding medication management. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a current RN License in Louisiana are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in the State of Louisiana.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must provide proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete annual health assessments on identified participants.
• Provide person specific training to direct support professionals regarding medication.
• Submit required documentation regarding health assessments and training.
