Job summary

A community service organization in Mandeville is seeking a Community Living Specialist to provide daily training and direct care for residents of the community home. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of residents while maintaining the facility. A valid driver’s license is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Duties Summary

Responsible for carrying out daily training programs for community home residents. Maintains community home in good condition. Ensures the safety and well-being of community home residents, equipment, and facility. Responsible for performing all duties associated with provision of direct care at the level need by each individual community home resident. Adheres to the policies and standards established by STARC and other regulatory agencies. May be required to transport clients. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must successfully complete CMA certification training and receive CMA certificate within one year of date of hire.
