Job summary

Edmonds School District is seeking qualified candidates for the Substitute Principal/Assistant Principal pool for the 26/27 school year. This on-call position places you at various school sites as needed, supporting leadership and school improvement, with a focus on equity and student achievement.

Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree, WA State Principal Credential (or ability to obtain), and prior admin/teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required or equivalent.
• Valid Washington State Principal's Credential for elementary level or ability to obtain before start date.
• Experience in school administration and/or teaching.
• Knowledge of instructional evaluation frameworks including TPEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective learning programs to improve student performance.
• Assess curriculum, student outcomes, and school climate and make improvements.
• Provide instructional leadership and promote high expectations for students and staff.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff; manage budget and district procedures.
