Job summary

Edmonds School District seeks Substitute Principals to be placed in an applicant pool and assigned to various school sites as needed. This on-call role focuses on leading instructional programs, supporting teachers, and maintaining a positive school climate.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s Degree and WA State Principal Credential (Elementary) or can obtain it before starting, with prior admin or teaching experience and strong collaboration skills to drive student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for leadership role in schools.
• Valid WA State Elementary Principal Credential or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Previous school administration and/or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate instructional program to improve student performance.
• Assess learning programs, curriculum, and school climate.
• Provide instructional leadership and promote high expectations.
