Bright Horizons is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to join our centers in Pittsburgh, including Northside, Southside, Oakland, and downtown locations. You will assist with activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe, engaging environment for children across age groups.

Qualifications

• Requires state and company background checks.
• Education background must meet state/company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.

Education

High school diploma or GED is required

2 years of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
