Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join an inspiring team dedicated to nurturing young learners in our vibrant classrooms. As an on-call substitute, you’ll gain flexibility and may work in different centers and with various age groups.

You will assist with hands-on activities, maintain open communication with parents, and help keep classrooms safe and engaging according to Bright Horizons policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines—support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.

Education
