Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to support early childhood classrooms at Bright Horizons centers. As an on-call substitute, you’ll join a team delivering hands-on activities, monitoring safety, and communicating milestones to families.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to work with diverse age groups across centers. Requirements include 18+, HS diploma or GED, background checks, and preferred ECE coursework or related degrees; CDA/degree programs

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• CDA or college-level ECE coursework highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed.
