Qualifications

• Greet guests and introduce pottery techniques and processes.
• Demonstrate wheel-throwing and guide centering, pulling walls, and trimming.
• Maintain labeling, documentation, and storage of guest pottery items.
• On-call position with flexible scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive 30 minutes before classes in uniform and nametag.
• Prepare receipts and set up activities prior to guest arrival.
• Demonstrate and assist guests with centering, wedging, pulling walls, etc.
• Create, organize and teach pottery activities for guests.
• Encourage guests to sign up for additional classes.
• Order wine from room service as needed.
• Clean cottage areas and ensure tools are clay-free; floors swept/mopped.
• Monitor inventories of crafts and department forms; notify lead/manager when items are low.
• Notify lead/manager of work orders; other duties as assigned.
• Keep guests on task to complete classes within time frames.
