This part-time role includes wheel throwing teaching, weekend and evening availability, class setup, private instruction, and hands-on studio upkeep, with a focus on welcoming every student and keeping the space clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be confident in wheel throwing and have weekend availability.
• Experience teaching beginner-level workshops is a plus.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily/weekly studio cleaning and maintenance to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Set up studios for classes and events, prep materials and pre-wedged clay.
• Teach group and private wheel-throwing lessons as required.
• Monitor inventory of clay, glazes, and consumables; assist with deliveries and stock rotation.
• Provide welcoming, helpful customer service to members and visitors.
