Air Products in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Pipeline Technician to support safe, reliable operation of the nitrogen pipeline system and assets. The role emphasizes on-call maintenance, safe practices, and independent work in a dynamic industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a dedication to safety, and the ability to collaborate with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Trade/Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Military service in a related field is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety focus.
• Willing to learn and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry company provided cell phone and respond to call-outs during off-hours.
• Understand and proper use of AZ811 call before dig system.
• Use Dig Tix software.
• Read P&ID’s, pipeline alignment sheets, and wiring schematics.
• Walk up to 3 miles a day in rough terrain and extreme conditions.
• Meet with contractors and city representatives to protect the pipeline from damage/rupture.
• Regular patrols of pipelines to ensure normal operation.
• On-call during nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Secondary responsibilities may include basic electrical troubleshooting and mechanical support.
