Job summary

Spring Education Group in Temecula, CA, is seeking an enthusiastic On-Call Physical Education Substitute Teacher to cover PE classes as needed. You will implement provided lesson plans, promote active participation, and maintain a safe, structured environment for elementary and middle school students.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, with prior classroom experience and knowledge of safe PE practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Prior classroom experience with elementary and middle school students is desirable.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate physical education activities and safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the regular physical education teacher.
• Lead age-appropriate physical education activities while promoting participation and student well-being.
• Maintain class management and a positive learning environment during coverage.
• Supervise students in gym, fields, and classrooms as assigned.
• Monitor safety procedures and proper use of equipment.
• Deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum during longer substitute assignments.
