Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Spokane, WA is hiring on-call Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) to join our healthcare dining team. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and help ensure dietary needs are met with accuracy and care.

We require 1 year of patient dining experience and offer a fixed pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Schedule is on-call with variable days/hours, and online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and interpret English documents.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor patients and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
